First night in Edinburgh

A few highlights:

- The "technical run" at the venue was reasonably smooth in spite of staff complaints for arriving too late

- I have my fliers!

- We bump into Michael Urie (Willemina’s gay assistant, Marc, in Ugly Betty) around midnight, roaming the gay area of Edinburgh in the company of the American cast of an all-male production of the Bacchae. The visual effect of the whole ensemble is rather pleasant. Marc is one of my favourite characters in Ugly Betty and he seems to be lovely in person, happy to share a kebab with a drunk Scottish girl wanting to be photographed next to him.
